2. Data we process
We process account data managed through Clerk, service usage data such as requested URLs and clip metadata, payment metadata handled through Stripe, and messages you send to support or legal addresses. We do not store full payment card numbers or passwords.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to provide the service, authenticate users, calculate credits, process billing, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and answer requests. Legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation, and consent where required.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use necessary authentication cookies and local browser storage for preferences such as theme, language, and recent clip history. We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
5. Processors and transfers
We share only necessary data with providers such as Clerk for identity, Stripe for billing, infrastructure providers for hosting, proxy/network providers for public stream access, and YouTube/Google public endpoints for processing requested streams. International transfers may rely on SCCs or other lawful mechanisms.
6. Retention
Account and preferences are retained while your account is active. Generated files are temporary. Technical logs are usually kept up to 30 days, billing records up to 7 years, and support/legal communications up to 3 years unless a longer legal hold applies.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. California residents may also exercise CCPA/CPRA rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including HTTPS/TLS, access controls, externally managed secrets, and dependency reviews. No system is perfectly secure; if a reportable breach occurs, we will notify affected users as legally required.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a minor provided data without proper consent, contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or service changes. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice when required.
